If another NHL All-Star goes, should every KHL-team get its own subforum?

Yeah. So how much progress should the KHL have to make before HF are giving us the same chance for exposure as the NHL teams? I mean, we have a continent twice the size in population compared to north america here, and we are growing in confidence for each passing day. Lets talk amongst ourselves.

I will take a wild guess here, and it's only a guess, but I think it will be when there is enough interest for it. A good start that indicates that could be when every team in KHL actually has at least 1 active thread about them.

More of the major teams should have threads to discuss club dealings, call ups, injuries etc.. Some of these discussions aren't suitable for the general thread because they just get lost with all of the other crap then no discussions are carried on.

Good point. Unfortunately i was drunk when i started this thread, but you have some great progressive feedback here.
Maybe they one day(Why not today?;)) can start with the more popular teams, yes. It's no secret that the KHL brass have started from a number of very well established teams and expanded from there.

Jokerit has a thread here and discussion in Finnish section. Slovan, Lev and Milan in Central European section.
Top Russian clubs can feed there own threads, but not others, I guess.

There is what, Donbass, Zagreb, Riga with their own threads?

Yes threads. But as you may have noticed on the front page of the forum there is a visible unique sub-forum for each NHL team. I realise this thread is probably premature, but a forum for each team would still be to acknowledge that the new league in town has arrived.

When there's barely any discussion on some teams, then it's highly unlikely they'd do such a thing. Division forums possibly.

But when only four teams have threads in the KHL sub forum, then there is no real need for making an entire KHL subforum for each team

The only really popular threads are the ones about Dinamo Riga and Medvescak Zagreb. I wonder though why there is nothing about SKA as in most threads they get a high percentage of coverage. :handclap:

I think it would be great just to make sticky threads for all the teams. Like it is at OHL forum.

Not nearly enough activity yet. What I do suggest is moving Lev and Slovan threads to KHL subforum, they are quite hidden in the Central Europe subforum. It doesn't make much sense to be honest, Russian KHL teams for example don't have their threads in Russia subforum.

is there somewhere I can watch the KHL online?

Been wanting to follow, but never really knew a good place to go. I'm a hockey fan first, then a Leaf fan..NHL only cause my Leafs are there. So if I can begin watching and find a team I like in the KHL then why not.

Absolutely. Both threads should be included here.

But you have to learn Cyrillic alphabet to figure out what teams play. Probably it is good idea to open a thread announcing KHL games with the links.

You should try writing to mods about that. They could be willing to help.

I like this sticky thread idea like it's the case with the CHL teams at HFBoards. Would be interesting to see what teams get most attention by the users.
