Not worried about the score vs LA the last 2 games. What worries me is the lack of discipline. It would be costly if our players cant keep their emotions in check. We need to finish our checks and be pests like Perry\Frederic without taking dumb penalties and getting riled up .

Knob preaches that a lot which pisses off many here but its the only thing keeping us from winning it all.

It was mostly just Nurse's lights going off momentarily upstairs which he's prone to whether it's to do with discipline or general decision-making.

Yes, I am still salty about the dual suspensions against VGK. That was the NHL going mask off with making the suspensions match.

Podz is pretty much the only one right now. Max Jones does no damage. Frederic and Kane at full health will give this team a much different look. Philp needs to add some nasty to his game if he wants to be a NHL regular.

I must be living in an alternate reality where that's a suspension worthy play. There's literally no force on that cross check and we just saw a player literally get judo thrown backwards onto the ice and not even a fine.

And right on cue, the King's PR hack pushing the agenda of a Nurse suspension to the league. You know their management was on the phone with the league before Byfield even left the ice.

The sad thing is this is being telegraphed, but the league is going to take the bait. That was not anywhere near severe enough to keep someone out for any amount of time.

Byfield will miss practice and their next game, it will clock as an "injury" and then that will be wielded as justification for a longer suspension. Then Byfield is back game 1.

If precedent plays a role at all (and who am I kidding, we know it doesn't), this incident happened in the Wild's game 81, this took Ehlers out for the first round, and Hartman only got a game for it.



This will not matter, however. We've seen time and time again that the concept of precedent gets tossed out when an Oiler suspension is on the docket.

What is Perry actually talking about though over whats been happening over the last 2 weeks? Seems like if its injuries he's talking about most of those were non contact injuries, or minimal contact.

People can look at this different ways. If the Oilers are pissed, and it seems Perry is talking along those lines does it feed into the kind of thing Nurse did last night?

Focus on the prize, not on the silly games.

Perry, love the fire but he's one of the guys that goes sideways into the shit and doesn't always benefit a club doing that I remember a few games he got unraveled and it costs a team too.

Perry is the player that KK had to take aside one game and sit him on the bench he was getting so fueled.

Perry was responding to the comments Danault made regarding the Oilers put out a “b” team to injure kings players. Perry’s response was referring to all the injuries and oilers having no choice but to play the “b”team.
