Something quite extraordinary occurred in the New York market: A hockey game broke out on MSG, but almost no one watched.
Only 736 households — a minuscule .01 rating — tuned in.
A minor surprise was that 10,271 households clicked to SNY to watch the New York Titans play the Rochester Knighthawks in a National Lacrosse League game on SNY.

Aside:
“Lacrosse is the fastest-growing sport in the country, and the N.L.L. is TV friendly.â€
That officially bumps the total number of sports claiming to be the fastest growing sport in the country to 586.
