What would be the perfect NHL team keeping player roles (meaning just because Bergeron is good at face-offs, he shouldn't be taking face-offs on the 3rd line as realistically he'd be a 1C), cap space, and chemistry (obviously you don't want 3 snipers on the same line) in mind? For an example, I think Cody Eakin is the perfect 3C because he's a great shutdown player who's capable of 40 points who only makes $2.3M. Obviously players like Ovechkin, Crosby, and Kane would be a great 1st line but that would be $28M just on the 1st line so you wouldn't have much for everything else. You can only have 3 players on your team with ELC contracts.
