Looked like a President's Trophy/ECF team playing an almost lottery team. A bit surprising that they folded so easily in their home opener, but good for us.
Chytil is a huge difference maker, the whole bottom 6 looked solid and Laf/Panarin are going to give teams fits all year.
Jones and Mancini looked good for young players, you can see they still need to adjust to the pace of the game a bit though, especially some of their passes. Trouba was solid. I'm not sold on Miller/Fox although they looked fine this game.

I think the boys deserved to win eh? Pens are a lottery team though so probably a good idea to chill a bit.

The eye test doesn’t show either of those things.
This was a road game and early on they got pinned hard.
They looked fine as the game went on.

let’s be honest, the pens aren’t expected to be involved in the playoffs. however, the rangers did their job and took care of business convincingly. great performance all around sans a couple outliers.

not every night is going to be this easy. I’m just happy tonight was.
