Tribute I want to see McMann in the top 6. I predict McMann will play in the top 6 by the end of the season and into the playoffs.

I think McMann replaces Engvall next year on the roster. Solid player, great to see the late bloomers having success.

McMann could replace Kerfoot or Engvall and even if he's brutal it's not a mess because they're already brutal..

No chances will be taken this year. Too much on the line. If Kerfoot is traded his spot is filled with a proven player.

Wouldn't be surprised if he makes the team out of camp next year though.

With what is out there, and the recent shift upward in market prices, I see a lot of meh, and Tampa won a cup with rookies playing key minutes. McMann on the 4th is no worse than ZAR, and the best the Leafs can hope to get is someone like a ZAR in a trade. He had 0 points in 8 games, but he did hit at least 2 posts, so it was more about bad luck than poor play.

All that to say....he has upside compared to many options out there, albeit with some downside risk. There is no penalty to keeping him with the team for the playoffs if he performs.
