i think my computer may be haunted by the ghost of a french person

my keyboard settings randomly change themselves from "english - us" to "canadian - french" like 30 times a day

if i had a dollar for every time i tried to type a "?" and instead got a "É"........

also

i only get french ads on youtube and other video sites that play video ads before you can watch whatever you were trying to

pls advice on how to proceed

Hit CTRL + SHIFT a few times and see if that fixes it. It's some keyboard change thing I get it often and have to hit those 2 keys a couple times to fix it.
