I wasn't able to catch many game in March.

I was wondering something.. When I watched them for like a 20 games stretch in a row, in my opinion, Nathan Beaulieu played some really good hockey, the best of his career, he was refreshing to see him rush the puck and skate well, crisp passes and improving in his coverage in D.

Why he got benched after that? Is there any logic behind that? He was rdy for being a full time NHLer..

Is he mismanaged by the team?

A mix of mis management and a couple of poor performances.

Doesn't help that the coach gave him 12 minutes on the 3rd pairing with Gonchar when Gonchar came back, despite Beaulieu playing like a top 4 when Gonchar was out.

Not at all. He's a rookie going through rookie stuff. Plus we have a lot of depth on the back end. I think he'll be in the lineup come playoff time.

I think he was sick for a couple games. And they probably want to get Emelin feeling good again for the playoffs. And Pateryn comfortable as a depth option. It seems Beaulieu, Gilbert, Gonchar, Emelin, are on equal ground, with matchups possibly dictating who sits.
I agree that Beaulieu should be full time though.
