This. I tried watching the first few episodes of both the UK and US versions and just cringed. There is a difference between funny and awkward and I am sure I missed out on a couple funny parts but it is just not worth it.The office sucks.

The UK office was very bad, it's just a very sad insecure man looking for approval by trying very hard to be funny and to be liked
Then there's **** like this
HAHAHA! HE HIT HER IN THE FACE! HILARIOUS!
No, it's not, it's just awkward.
Never bothered watching the US version
Seasons two and three of the US Office are some of the funniest **** to ever be on NA television.
And yet you and Dr. Mantis don't find it funny? That's actually shocking to me.it's just a very sad insecure man looking for approval by trying very hard to be funny and to be liked

What does that even mean?
People who practice yoga are the most accepting, understanding, non-judgemental people you'll ever meet.

Literally the same ****
Awkward can be funny, The Inbetweeners has a lot of awkward but hilarious moments, it depends on how it is executed
The characters in The Inbetweeners are also teenagers so that makes it more funny and relatable, a grown middle-aged man being awkward isn't very funny
I like awkward. Aubrey Plaza, Anna Kendrick, Zooey Deschanel, Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart etc. Probably more but that's off the top of my head.
The sweet spot for the Office was around seasons 2 and 3. The first season it was still in the shadow of the UK version. After that season, they started going in their own direction and it got pretty good.
All the talent? A bunch of nobodies?I won't dispute that it got better those seasons but it went from a show that never made me laugh to a show that was not amusing enough for all the talent it had in the cast but still somewhat amusing and sometimes funny enough to make me laugh.
