Some would argue the series finale was the shark jump. I think I've seen others posit it's when George's fiancee dies, but I disagree there.

Series finale really can't jump the shark IMO. If done right it's a special episode not unlike musical episodes and not bound by regular rules. The Seinfeldian marching of memorable characters to the witness stand is a-ok way to go. Similarly, Dallas gets full pass for J.R. hanging out with an angel dude for a It's A Wonderful Life plot.

A notable exception of course being the stupid starchild thing in V: The Final Battle. And I'm slightly on fence over Xena: Warrior Princess.
