I enjoyed an article of ours where they told that the National Land Survey has scanned the whole of Finland with the same LiDAR laser scanning technology which found the huge Mayan city ruins in a rainforest recently, and put the data showing hitherto unknown (pre)historic sites on their map site free of charge.

People went berserk in the comments, they'll prolly have to come out with a "we weren't ****ting you" follow-up article.
