Could we all agree to switch over at 10PM EST tomorrow night? Hopefully that will be well clear of work, class, and family time. It would also be prime time for several major NHL fanbases to be active on HFBoards, including those discussing Pens/Rangers, Leafs/Caps, Canucks/Sens, Habs/Sharks... plus our game against the Oilers... and the Sabres fanbase arriving for their 10PM game in Vegas

If this time presents a problem, it takes literally about a minute to change your avatar. Just get locked and loaded, excuse yourself to the bathroom, and do the deed. I think all of us around here have plenty of practice doing that.

Also this gives some of the stragglers time to realize what’s going on and plan accordingly.

can we do it @ like 8 or 9 PM as 10 is late for me

I agree, a couple of early entries aren’t a big deal.

Let’s say the window opens at 9PM EST for anyone who absolutely has to go in early. The rest of the group hits at 10PM for the big reveal.

That would mean no posting in the GDT, because anyone can like a post and mess things up.

Then again, worst case, maybe two or three users need to switch their avatars.

I got rid of the indication that I'm in Raleigh, so there's less immediate confirmation in looking at the leaderboard that it's chock-full of Canes fans. Not saying you need to follow suit...just sayin'.

I don’t think we need to think too much about order until tomorrow night. Just figure out where you are when you go to make the change, and take the appropriate letter from Robo’s portfolio.

Problem with that is some of the guys aren't very far infront of people that could overtake them from off the list.

Let's keep liking ourselves some more until about 5pm tomorrow. Then let the list settle in and go from there.

We do, but I’d rather not use that unless absolutely necessary. The higher ups have made it pretty clear that the likes ranking is up for grabs and not something they’re concerned with monitoring, but mods do have a code of conduct to adhere to.

Should be careful. With the amount of posts from each user in this thread, it would be easy to lead a targeted effort to disrupt many of the orders right before the prescribed time. Especially since some of the gaps aren't very wide.

also everybody probably needs to do a dry run to make sure they can pull an avatar out of the gallery and make it their own. I didn't think to check if there would be an issue with that.
