Still pissed at the Ducks game as well. It’s one thing to lose to a bottom feeder due to random event (hero goaltending, shit officiating, etc), but it’s another when you lose for no reason other than trash effort.

Losses like that are effectively a choice. If we simply chose to show up with a professional, focused approach we win that game no matter what. We chose not to though, which makes it that much more frustrating.

Effort was shit. I bet we win that game without 2 muffin goals against though.

I think they've won once ever on NYE. I pay special attention to this as it's also my birthday (meh). I don't exactly have a good feeling about it, for the above and also the NYE curse they seem to have.

I'm still annoyed by that loss to the Ducks. The worst kinds of losses are the ones where we blow leads to bad teams. Hopefully we can win one more game before the year concludes.
