Which NHL players do you think would accept the invitation ?

I can see many of them do except for guys like Sergachyov who just came back from injury and the older stars like Ovechkin, Malkin.

Which youngsters might make the team ? Michkov, Simashev?

May be some players from Magnitka? Nabokov, Zernov, Yurov, I like Kantserov a lot in the play off, but may be too young, Beryozkin, Aimurzin, Atanasov, Konyushkov. But I am just regular fan. Suppose some real specialist will see it different and definitely will give more names.

What would best-on-best roster look like? Maybe:

Kucherov-Malkin-Kaprizov
Panarin-Buchnevich-Nichushkin
Ovechkin-Barbashev-Svechnikov
Tarasenko-Voronkov-Kuzmenko
Namestnikov

- 4th center is the most questionable spot. Names can kill penalties, so maybe he can bring value there. Voronkov has shown that he can be productive while getting low minutes though.

Orlov-Zadorov
Nikishin/Mintyukov/Romanov

- I wouldn’t have included Zadorov a month ago, but he has been awesome in these playoffs. Orlov has played well also, and I feel he still belongs.

I know. Just an interesting thing to discuss.

I would put some young guys on the WC roster. It probably wouldn’t be the best foot forward short term, but could be beneficial long term.
