Good news it was an experiment that didn't work out here wishing him good fortune with a new organization.

Honestly first time I saw the x-wing meme. Just thought the post went too hard
I may be a little salty because after years of plugs I'd hoped Husso might be a Real Deal and he just kept ragdolling himself trying to do basic puck-stoppage. I know this season wasn't intended to be a "real" run for the playoffs, but the team just doesn't play well in front of him, ever. Etc. I agree with those who say that he's an AHL goalie who can fill in at the NHL level when you're desperate. Which bums me out a little.

But seriously, didn't he take HIMSELF out three times in two seasons? You can't waste an NHL slot on that kind of player.

Good luck to Husso in San Diego and/or Anaheim for the remainder of this season, and a thank you for being a good sport about playing in Grand Rapids.

That said, love the clearing of cap space, and hopefully we can go out make a deal or two at the deadline to bolster the lineup.

He must have had the opponents too distracted by the clashing colors. Great start though, goaltending has been a huge sore spot for the Gulls this season, hopefully Husso can continue to be steady for them down the stretch.

He debuted last season in GR with a shutout against the Belleville Senators. His first game this season with the Griffins, he had a shutout against Manitoba. He also debuted for the Wings with a shutout. He's realgud at debuts.

Yeah, and after his debut, he usually tweaks his groin etc and becomes realbad.

Ken Daniels said it best, "future considerations" means nothing. The CBA simply doesn't allow them to say it. It is a salary dump. The big IF/when with Husso is IF/when he is healthy is a capable #2. (He has a career .901% in the NHL)
