I've been waiting for this one for months... it'll be a dream doubleheader. I'll watch the Panthers game at Ale House, then go home and switch jerseys and head to PNC Arena. Can't wait!

It's not like my GDT schedule thread says it's a home game or anything...


I'd just change the thread around itself, and say that it's in PNC Arena and not in Hottawa, and then change the order of the logos at the top. Dave/tarheel/bleed can/will fix the title for you.

If you show up in a signed Rod Brind'Amour jersey and a hard hat with the siren light on it, I'm sure you may be able to talk the person into giving you an extra, saying "It's for my wife."

If you show up in a 15 year old windbreaker and a Chicago Cubs cap? Not a chance.

IIRC, they usually do it for the first 15k fans, so as long as you're not showing up 5 minutes before puck drop, you should be OK

On a somewhat related note, I've picked up approximately 20 Hurricanes bobbleheads and figurines over the years. That's too many to use as decoration in a one-bedroom apartment without looking like a guy who's never had a girlfriend before, so they're all sitting in their boxes in my closet. I have one 4-piece set I randomly found and a Jussi bobblehead that was given to me as a gift. The 4-piece set I found at this creepy closed flea market place on a pizza delivery back in the day when I was a pizza delivery dude. Paid $5 it has O'neill, Brind'Amour, Francis, and Irbe on a display with a Hurricanes puck covered in fake signatures. They sit on my desk and watch the games. I am single, coincidence?
