Svech got slashing because the scrum was pretty much over and he slashed a guy right in front of a ref. It was a dumb move.

He has taken stupid penalties the last few.

All he has to do is take his number and blast him into the boards later in the game. He should have done that too against rangers.

Yes, some did argue that. There were a few commenting on Svech and why we were short handed. Ref's often give 2min to guys that scrum like Aho and Tkachcuk even if it's not warranted (neither should have gotten anything IMO, it was harmless).

Svech was an idiot for slashing after the fact.
