Yes, abuse of power. I don't know how you've managed to miss the litany of instances of innocent people getting injured or maimed. And yes, I'm using that word correctly. One freelance journalist was permanently blinded after being struck in the eye by a rubber bullet.
But judging by the rest of your post, I'm guessing the reason you've missed them is that you're so far into the "Deep State" conspiracy, you're completely blind to what's actually happening around the country.
But at least we agree on one thing: The visuals on the military using military power on civilians would be unrecoverable. Remember that over the next few days.
blind, no.
Are there mostly innocent folks in these protests. Most definitely. Vast majority are innocent folks.
here is the problem: either we A: allow the good innocent folks to continue while the tiny minority (lots of rumors, theories, and videos of payments on who it could be) injure, loot, burn, and vandalize.
The news is littered with burning buildings, everyone gets uneasy, and unrest and worry is among the quiet folks. Firefighters now have to risk their lives among the chaos to stop the fires. Basically Thursday-Saturday
Or
B. Crowd control everyone once the time is deemed appropriate. Which means, unfortunately, innocent folks are going to get caught up in it.
The innocent folks will come on TV complaining and have articles written about them while we ensure to keep the violent stuff out of the picture where they were innocent. The media is full of quieter cities, Police are still crap and getting to be another military, and Leaders are crap and becoming dictators. Etc, etc.
basically Sunday and yesterday.
The wishful answer is C. Everyone peaceful protests and then goes home. So far, we haven’t had enough of that.
Since C isn’t happening all the time, we are in non winning situation. Unfortunately we haven’t invented innocent folks proof crowd control agents yet.
the duality of man is funny. I don’t want to see burning, looted cities and I don’t want see the actions required to stop it.
because I am only contributing to what
@Lempo is describing, I’ll leave it alone from now on.
