This ain't over y'all. It is sleeting in Ashe Co and we still have half a dozen families in tents in the tiny community of Creston alone. Direct financial contributions can be made by check to the Creston Fire Department, 157 Worths Chapel Road, Creston NC 28615. We have a great need for skilled labor, if y'all know any carpenters that might be willing to volunteer their time. Same address, 9-5 every day but Sunday and Wednesday. This is a Christmas registry for kids in Creston.
It is too cold to wait on FEMA to not show up.
