I guess the optimist in me says that after a 3 game skid we are still only 1 point further away from that last spot than we were before- so it could be way worse. We did see our games in hand mostly evaporate though, so... there's that...

Honestly I'm very happy with the game yesterday given we benched our 3rd pairing and played the AHL goalie.

 

[Breakdowns]

We knew that these 4 games will be hard, but real test comes when we will play against our main rivals (for playoff spot) like Philly, Leafs and others in playoff hunt!
