Dad is on his way home, it was likely caused by plaque from the heart attack cath fix.

My friend who passed was about 1.5 miles in on a hike with a group when he suddenly collapsed. Just never know.

yep, not so bad in the western Triad area yet but it was f***ing COVERED in the PNC lot after all of 3 hours there after the game last night, and that's even with getting a bit of rain during the game as well.

One more week and I can rejoin the land of the living again. Pollen and all, I will gladly take it. Can't wait to hit a trail or fully take in a game or enjoy a little solitude. The constant influx of healthcare folks and family weirds the introvert in me out.

My folks arose from bed at 4:45 am today just because they felt like it. Mom has made great progress but still needs supervision. I wanted to cry when the Westerns started.

A Spectrum outage is affecting my area. It's apparently going to take them at least 6 hours to fix. I say "at least", because the original estimate was 4:30, but now they're saying 6:00. Which means it'll probably be closer to 8:00.

It took way too long for Google Fiber to make it out my way, but once they did, I have never looked back.

I'm on a package deal to get both phone and Internet from Spectrum for relatively cheap, but once that deal ends (or if Fiber offers a better one), I'll switch in an instant

If you're an android user look into it. I wouldn't be surprised if Google has a package that combines fiber and their wireless, and Pixels have been outstanding phones since I moved over to them back when the Pixel 3 came out.

I just got a new phone a few months ago (because unlike, apparently, a lot of Americans, I understand how tariffs work...), so I'll probably need to pay off this one before thinking about getting another one.

I'm still using a Pixel 3 lol. Even though it's only got 1 lens I love the camera. Night mode is amazing.
