I just think it’s silly to have that rule. I get the reasoning behind it, political discussion is basically asking for conflict and rule-breaking, but so are a bunch of subjects, not the least of which is hockey fandom. Hell, there’s a 22-page topic on the main board that has broken more rules about flaming than our political discussion did and that’s been open, seemingly untouched, since Saturday.

As long as we don’t cross the line, I don’t see an issue with political talk. Though, to be honest, we probably did cross that line last go around.

Honestly, his behavior lately seems like his self-admitted autism is taking the driver’s seat. Maybe he was just better at hiding it in the past, but a lot of his recent tweets/decisions definitely seem to fall under the “Weird kid in middle school that’s suddenly the focus of an audience” mentality.
