Wait...what did Wayne Gretzky do that is bad, friend?

I can't speak to MV's point of view, but I know a lot of Canadians have turned on him because he was an icon of Canada and has since decided to cozy up next to a guy that has openly talked about annexing Canada for about 6 months now. Turns out that'll sour a reputation real quick

He’s a glazer. Which ain’t so bad. We all know he’s annoyingly respectful.

Unless he’s glazing a guy I don’t like based on information that is either factually wrong or worse - an intentional Belarussian erasure. (The part about information is the obviously more important I might add)

In an interview he said his paternal Russian grandpa would be happy his record was broken by a Russian.

Which is bloody hillarious given that Walter Gretzky repeatedly said his parents hailed from Belarus.

Grandpa spoke primarily Belarussian, grandma Polish (she was from nowadays Ukraine, those days it was Polish territory… cuz WW2) and they spoke Ukrainian.

Walter’s first language was Ukrainian (his mom had issues learning English).

These would be relatively harmless words 15 years ago.

But now they are plain co^ksucking.

Side note - unlike many on the board I was never raised to like him. To consider him the best to ever play hockey? Sure. But as far as my national allegiance goes - Canadian Crybaby.

Who didn’t even properly stick up for his folks in a time when I could see Canadiens clamor for a wee bit of national fervor from their icon.

For hell’s sake I hate Ovechkin, but he was always graceful as a winner and a loser (never put down a silver medal and always respected national anthems( and he’s too much of a dingus to only act like a patriot.

His spine is riddled with metaphysical cancer but at least his spine is upright.

Oh its RuZZia, RuZZia RuZZia again, got it.

Anyone know of any parks or trails around Hillsborough/Durham/Chapel Hill that have any red mulberry trees or Chickasaw plums? Trying to get some cuttings to plant on our property.

Finding plenty of white mulberry but trying to just plant natives
Dozens of persimmon trees + elderberries + ~40ft tall muscadine vine + thousands of blackberry canes found just off our property today. Need to get some trail cams set up for later this year because the wildlife must go crazy when any of those are ripe.

In an incredibly simplified roundabout fashion … still no. It’s mostly his lack of spine and unending urge to please everyone, not Russia itself for once.

They’re not forcing him or bribing him.

His co^ksucking is his own doing.

This is the part that should be of real concern:

“Since the memo was issued, CBS News reports the Trump administration has signed 456 agreements with local police departments, letting them act as immigration officers — turning traffic stops and routine patrols into immigration raids.”

So now the police have free reign to search you, your car, your house, for whatever reason (or no reason at all), all without a warrant.
