He was also very clearly injured and not playing at his usual level.

He's already won a cup not every player is going to win multiple cups in there career especially in a league with such parity.

And anyone saying he's a choker is an idiot dude is a beast, the AVS built an old team it was never as good as there last cup winning team you could see that by looking at the pieces.

he's still a top 3 player in his era and has a chance to be in the top 20 imo when its all said and done.

MacK is a pita at the start of the season and turns into a complete dickhead when things go south. He likes to blame every teammate and has no flaws himself.

He's been good IMO, but just like McDavid and Kucherov, hasn't really stood out amongst his peers after another terrific regular season. He's had 3 terrific games but outside of that, he's been ok-to-good. 9 of his 14 points came in 3 games, and he's been sub-par in the rest of the playoffs.

Good but not outstanding. He has a great opportunity to establish himself as the best in the world given his contemporaries bowed out weeks ago, but he hasn't really taken the next step and has been probably the 4-5th best player in these playoffs.

How would you view him moving forward?

As the best center in the NHL. Right there with McDavid.
