In spite of all this, I remain optimistic. I mean maybe Melnyk does care about the team and actually believes he can be cheap and make it work. Which is why he doesn't always get along with the team. He believes even as a lean organization that they have a chance and gets frustrated when things don't go well.
I need to believe this as all the talk about Melnyk selling the team doesn't seem likely. If we were to trade Karlsson as

Anyways, until next season starts, I'm going to keep hoping that something non-radical can happen and will keep the team together. I refuse to believe things are as bad as they are.
