Yes. You might have interest as there are certain teams that might lose a scoring W. Toronto, Colorado, Dallas. I’d even say Tampa might have interest if they can’t sign that prospect. You also can’t rule out Trotz and his affinity for older players.

I doubt it’s Colorado due to stylistic fit. But the other teams might be looking for some buy low scoring punch.

The only guy hes replacing on that list is Skinner, and idk if Edmonton has interest in spending even 2.37m to do that

I think at 50% retention there would be a few teams that would give a late pick. He could be a fit on a team with younger Russian players as he’s been a star player in the past and won cups. Also handled playing for a variety of coaches, might be a good guy to put with Michkov or Demidov if either team wants to give up a late pick for a guy like him.

Colorado is unlikely. He doesn’t skate well enough. But Dallas is a possibility if they offload Robertson to upgrade defense, as has been discussed.

Being on a line with Kucherov might also make some sense. Same with Panarin. The guy had/has a great shot. If you put him in scenarios where he can be effective and also cost effective, he has some value.

You could probably find someone to take him after teams miss out on guys in UFA pretty easily. If the objective is just to move on I doubt that you'd have to retain to some teams assuming it's after they take their runs at guys.
