I picked sky’s the limit. He’s established himself as the clear number one. He is young. He has the right attitude. And, unlike most of his teammates, he elevated his game in the post season. Without him we would have been blown out by Toronto.
Open the vault and get it done!

Before the Bruins can pay him anything they've got to make cap space. Let's see what they do there first.

8 years, between 7-8. He's earned it and will continue to earn it. All I really care about is making the goalie situation excellent for the next near decade.

Im at 7.

If he takes any number under that hes given the Bs a discount.
Think there is any chance that his contract is something like 4mil first year then 7.5 for 7 more years? Give Linus his final year and have a combined goalie cost of 9mil? They love each other like mad and Linus doesn't want to leave.

Rask got 7 over 8 years at an idential point in his career so its around 8-9.

Don't wait either bc whatever team trades for Ullmark probably gives him 8-9 too on his extension.

If they gave him the same deal Rask go (based on CH%) then you're looking at 8yrs / $9.5 million

How much do I pay Swayman? As little as I can while also making him happy lol.

I'd love to lock him up at 8yr/$7 million. I think he wouldn't be crazy to ask for a similar deal to what Rask got when he was given his big deal and that would be 8yr/$9.5 million.

They signed Tuuka to a 7 mil avg a year contract about 10 years ago, why would Sway sign for that 10 years later and he is the better goaltender. Sway doesn't shit his pants.

Hey I will disagree with no one on locking swayman up. I’ve been a big swayman train guy and have been vocal for a few years that I would like to see him be the number one goalie.

If he gets overpaid then you won’t hear a peep from me, I’ll chuckle in the back ground that he did get overpaid but also be happy he’s back. He’s that good in my mind. Hes the guy I’d be willing to die on a hill for so to speak. I think swayman has it in every sense. I want him here into his 30s.
