My guy, if you're the one making the claim, the onus is on you to provide the proof (in this case, the stats/data).

This is the standard for literally everything in life. If it wasn't, all the courts would have to do to convict someone is say "prove you didn't do _____ crime or you're guilty".

The analyst say Brodin is one of the best skaters, yet the stats say he is basically average.

If you actually ever watch other teams besides the Wild, you'd realize Brodin isn't some special skater. He has a smooth stride, and is never out of position because of his IQ.

Are people who pretend to be hockey fans really trying to suggest that straight line speed is the end all, be all measure of skating ability? All that tells me is some internet experts have not actually watched a Brodin play.
