How many teams would Thomas Harley be a #1D on?

Harley has not been their best defensemen, despite good offensive numbers. Lindell has.

His pairing started bleeding shots like crazy the moment Heiskanen went down. That also continued into the playoffs. That's why he's a -5 despite putting up 11 points.

Faber was on ice for more goals forward than he was against these playoffs. Which impressive with no points. In fact, it demonstrates how effective he is at shutting people down when he's on. He didn't get "caved" in any way, shape or form.

Not only were you dead wrong (or intentionally) lying about these players in the playoffs, you don't seem to really have a good understanding of either player in general.
None of the data supports this claim. His possession metrics and analytics are terrible.

Plus-minus? Your entire argument is plus-minus? Interesting lmao.

Once again, Harley has superior production, possession metrics, and analytics. He’s bigger and more suited to playoff hockey, as evidenced by the fact that he has 11 points through 13 games and has been his team’s best D through two rounds.

Meanwhile, Faber got caved in defensively again this year, and has not been able to muster a single playoff point in his career so far, despite averaging over 27:00 minutes per game this year in the playoffs.

That’s how Harley is better. Now, let’s hear your counter-argument in favour why Faber is better.
once again this was faber 1st year in the playoff troll. Wild missed playoff last year. Once again points aren't shit when trying to determine a Dman worth or what player like Brodin , Spurgeon, Faber do in Minnesota's defensive structure team. Guess what troll? Players have struggles in their 2nd year, it happens. Faber isn't the 1st player it happens to. But guess what all analyst including former players like PK Subban who watch wild during the playoff raves about Faber. So an opinion of an online fan doesn't mean shit

I appreciate your answer. Bigger is transferable. The rest, however, is team related.
In other words, it’s an opinion based argument. In your opinion Harley is better as a 1 than Fabre. And that’s fine. I disagree. Imo Harley is a really good 3.
Plus he openly lied about faber playing in playoffs last year. wild didn't make playoffs in faber's 1st year in the league,

It's a not "claim". It's a fact

Teams scored more than Dallas did in these playoffs when Harley was on the ice.

Teams scored less in these playoffs then the Wild when Faber was on the ice.

For somebody who keeps using the word "facts" you certainly seem to be allergic to that one.

Oh really? So he didn’t play in the ‘22-‘23 playoffs?!

Lmao, you’re so flustered and pissed off that you don’t even know what’s going on and have lost track of everything.

Again, take a breather and calm down.

Nah I am not taking ant breather. I am calling out the bullshit from dallas fan

Plus he openly lied about faber playing in playoffs last year. wild didn't make playoffs in faber's 1st year in the league,
I said both times he was in the playoffs - two playoffs in a row.

You seem to be unaware that he played in the playoffs before this year, despite being a MIN fan 😂.

Either that, or you’ve got your undies in such a twist that you can’t think straight.

Fabre is a fabulous pksyer. Harley is good too. But it’s clear Fabre takes on the 1 role. While Harley has Heiskanen to take those minutes.
exactly. Plus the media has openly talked about how Dallas D isn't the same without Miro because he's better on D than Harley. They even talked about how Thomas Harley can't be a #1

Your entire argument is points and imaginary "metrics" that you've neither provided or explained.

You aren't helping your point when you say asinine things like "he got caved" by Vegas, when in fact they had a rather difficult time scoring when he was on the ice.

Since you are absent actual evidence, Im perfectly fine with leaning towards the player with a positive goal differential on a bubble team compared to the negative differential player on a powerhouse.

based on everyone who watched the game including analyst / former player like PK Subban on ESPN. Faber was openly talked about being the best player especially on D
He was atrocious in the Vegas series, and all the data shows that. Oh, except for plus-minus and gassing up from PK Subban. Well, I guess that settles it lol

a shit talker online compared to former players? Hmm who should I trust?? Oh yeah former players who knows the game more than you. You're wrong. He wasn't atrocious by any means. It's a fact Vegas couldn't score when Brock Faber was out there. Your weak ass opinion about point don't mean crap

As long as the Stars beat the Oilers in this coming series , that’s all that matters. Go Dallas Go!

Cool, have your opinion. You’re entitled to it. Now take a breather. Calm down.

Yeah, was there a playoffs in between the last two he played where he played well?

You on the other hand, said repeatedly that this year was his first playoffs 😂
yea he did. Again just because your blind to facts doesn't mean you know anything about hockey. People tell on themselves when they try to use points to say a player is Good. Again PK Subban & Mark Messier knows shit more about the game and in fact would laugh at you when both praised Brock Faber for being a stud

Not sure why you are laughing.

Dallas' opponents have scored more goals with Harley on the ice than they have allowed.

The Wild's opponent scored less goals with Faber on the ice than they allowed.

Those are both facts. You may not like them, but they are facts. Are you confused as to what a fact is? That's fine if you are. In fact, (no pun intended) your posts would make a lot more sense if that were the case.

That’s great dude, congrats on having an opinion and absolutely losing your shit over someone else’s 😂
