How many teams can you name?

First of just the current 32 teams:

I did it with two friends. I got 31, being able to name all teams except Minnesota. I'll be honest I quickly remembered the new Utah and Vegas teams but I forgot it was Seattle for a second or two. Apparently with trying to think of the last team before giving up I was like Ross in an episode of friends.

My friends each got 30. One missing Nashville and Minnesota and one missing New Jersey (!) and Utah (absentmindedly writing down Phoenix instead and not even Arizona :p).

Secondly if you want to be of all teams, past and present:

It can get confusing between franchises, expansions, relocations, name changes, or even teams who existed pre-NHL as we could name a couple that played for the Stanley Cup that technically never were NHL teams so be lenient as you like here.

Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Americans, Philadelphia Quakers, St. Louis somethings, Wikipedia says Eagles.

Hamilton was the Tigers, who were previously the Quebec Athletics, and became the New York Americans after a player's strike had them kicked out of the league by Frank Calder, then president of the league.

I did it in 3:10 on Sporcle, and the only reason it took me that long is that I did it division by division in alphabetical order. How are you going to be on hf and not be able to do this?

A big part of it has to do with typing speed honestly.
