77.

I think the defense will be worse because Fester will play old slow vets over young guys that can skate, and goaltending just as bad with less spread out offense in the lineup.

101. I think we take another step forward if our stars stay healthy. The Red Wings played at a 100 point pace when Larkin was in the lineup.

*** Sorry, but I didn’t find a way to respond to the poll on my phone.

I went with 90-100 because 91-100 is just crazy talk. I think we may take a step back in terms of goals scored, but I do suspect the goals against will improve. Last year was the perfect example of how you can't outscore a poor defense / goaltending. While acquiring a guy like Matt Roy would have sent the fanbase atwitter, I think there's a decent chance Simon Edvinsson has a Calder caliber season and Albert Johansson surprises some people. Our goalie situation is still concerning, but if we can get replacement level play there then I think we can improve our point total by 8-10 points.

82 points. Last season outside of playoffs, we going to get elite prospect in the next draft

I don’t like the poll options. I would probably go 90 (+/- 5), same as I felt last offseason.
Agreed…Mid 80s on the low end to low 90s seems likely…Another season where they just miss the playoffs, or they sneak in.

84-92

I wonder how much the regression by both Ottawa and Buffalo last year on their rebuilds(after both were so close to a playoffs breakthrough) is fueling the speculation of a regression from the Wings this year.

I don't know which will happen, my optimistic side says we still get better, but I can see a path to regression as well.

I think this year will be another one of those where 98 points may not get you to the dance, I expect some minor growth improvements eventually as the kids get up to speed, if the wings can start hot and maintain some consistency, they will flirt with a spot in April, but unless the team shows up on time for every game and play for the whole game, they are just not quite there yet.
