How many goals does Am34 finish with

Anyone else find it funny that basically right after Auston publicly says he would like a relaxed dress code that dubas decides to get rid of the dress code?

Why are these players being treated like children? Maybe after they have won at least a single playoff round you can reward them.

I’d say mid 40s. He isn’t looking like a top 3 rocket contender right now

OVs legacy going to take another boost with his year. Beating matthews at this age is insane

Matthews chances of being the GOAT goal scorer taking a hit. 1 rocket in 6 tries isn't good enough

Definitely not impressed with how his wrist injury was mismanaged. Dude should have got surgery literally months earlier, so that he was fully recovered by the start of training camp, and could put this injury behind him. Instead he misses training camp and the start of the season, is under pressure to rush back as the team got off to a shit start, and still doesn’t look 100%.

Feels like we're seeing a lot of weird versions of Matthews this year, none really approaching the classic version from last year.

The Rangers game was probably the most dominant 200 foot performance with some chance at heroics in OT, closest to vintage. The Carolina game, he scored and did nothing else. Don't remember him in the Pittsburgh game. The Chicago game felt like a real chaotic Rock Em Sock Em VHS tape where he was trying to play with emotion, breaking down defensively, forcing plays on the cycle, taking charge, etc. Detroit game seemed like he wasn't getting great looks and was overshadowed by the Tavares performance.

Starting to look that way. Not sure what the risks are with the wrist injury, so I can't say I understand why they tried avoiding it in the first place. But why not get it cleaned up in the offseason and have the schedule lined up so he's ready first week of training camp?

At this point it looks like he should've had it done last season. I hope this isn't going to be some chronic injury for him.

Think about how white hot his streaks have been over the years, and how ice cold he has been coming off injuries. He scored 47 in 70 a couple of years ago so 50 is in reach, assuming he doesn't get hurt again. Looking at the top 15 goal scorers I expect no more than 3 or 4 of them to be top 15 by year end.

Ovy, Matthews and Drai should be there at the end, and maybe McDavid. He will wake up soon but this isn't going to be his career year. I will say he gets another minor injury and 45g.

You can say 55-65 but OV is going to be untouchable after this year. 10 bloody rockets is unmatchable. Matthews even if he stays healthy and dominates isn't likely to get more than 5 or 6 for his career

Matthews losing 2 out 3 prime year rocket races to OV isn't going to look good for his legacy

Though being in discussion with the GOAT goal scorer (though overall borderline top 10 player) in itself is very promising .

Hopefully Matthews can bounce back and make this year's race interesting. Winning another rocket will be huge for him
