GDT: (How is it already) GAME 57: YOUR SEATTLE KRAKEN (23-29-4) at The Calgary Stampede or Somethings (26-21-7)

Probably a bad call. But the refs missed an interference penalty seconds earlier, so let's call it even.

So uhh

Wright has as many points as Slafkovsky now? Don’t tell HFCanadiens that though…
Not quite right. Wright now has 31 points to 29 for whoever that guy was that Montreal picked. And, deliciously, Wright's 12 goals would put him in a tie for third leading goal scorer on the Canadiens.

I expect both of them to be pretty effective top-6 F's through their careers.

I am really interested how Wright's point production is with increased TOI. He only had 13:05 of ice time today but had 1G and 1A.
Sadly I don't think we'll be finding out this season. Bylsma for whatever reason just refuses to up his ice time. Between that and the horror show special teams, it's honestly got me pretty sour on Bylsma and his staff.

I was going to say the same. You need to reward your young players to motivate them more. If Wright was crap defensively I could see why. But that is not the case either.

The other thing I have noticed is that he can carry players. He has been doing it this season. The kid is starting to come into his own.

Wolf is a great young goalie, but so is Joey, who would be getting more widely recognized as such if the Kraken were truly a playoff team.
I wouldn't be calling him great just yet...Decent to good...but he goes down too much which makes him look tinier than he already is...6-0 and kneeing 4--0

That’s the save selection used for taking away the lower corners, and what Dustin Wolf did on that glove save last game. Daccord does what most often works, and his save percentage, and more importantly goals saved above expected, indicate he is in the upper tier of NHL netminders.

There have been more than one member of the hockey media saying he deserves MVP consideration let alone Calder, and you're saying "enh he's decent"

...Sure.
