How In The World Is Tim Thomas Not In The HHOF?

Ultimately, he had an amazing peak, but a very short NHL career. Even more affected that for the most part (Tretiak being a notable exception) a lot of these guys have almost as many (or more) wins than Thomas had NHL games played. Goalies are already the hardest position to get into the HHOF, and as good as his peak was, a large amount of things are going against him (Games played, years played, total wins, very short peak, not to mention the potential of his politics playing a role).

To get selected for the Hockey Hall of Fame, a person must be nominated by the 18-person selection committee, which includes Hall of Fame members and media personalities, and then receive the support of 75% of the committee members present, or a minimum of ten votes...he hasn't done the above, that's why. ;)
