Just pure stats looking his stats went down alot the last 2 years. I heard he was playing on 1 leg or something. How good was he really his last 2 Seasons?

2006 he was 40 playing third line minutes, second PP units, still played 4 playoff games.

Washed after the lockout. Could still produce a bit on the powerplay, and able to hide on a team that was great.

2006 DRW were stacked and had something like 8 guys score 50+ points along with having the unquestioned best defenceman on their team. Yzerman was a lot less noticeable due to the talent around him, so he wasn't as relied upon as much.
