How good is Ottawa's farm system?

Have you ever heard of a player forcing himself on a GM. He would be buried far far away from the NHL if a player tried to do that. Can’t blame Murray? :amazed:
Contract status, can force the team or GM to make moves he doesnt want to make .It was pretty clear Lehner didnt want to be in the AHL for one second more then he had to ,even if it meant us moving a goalie to do this

Is it just me or does it seem like this team has been in a "development" mode for what seems like forever now?

It's been what..8 years since we made that Cup run? I understand that guys get old and you need to restock, but I really thought this team would have more than 1 playoff series win in 8 years since then.

Decline and growth phases aren't usually the ones you win the most...

How many teams can avoid these phases and jump into maturity (and winning) right away, maybe when they buy (UFAs, trades) their way into that but even then... Which teams outside of Detroit haven't struggle for a while in the last few decades? That is my question...

IMO, I think Sens fans had it PRETTY EASY compared to most teams, but yet they cry their heart ad nauseam

2003 lost to Devils in conference final. They beat the Anaheim Gigueres to win.

2007 SCF.

We have played the Rangers a few times in tough series.
