How good/bad is Dion really?

Yea, he's underrated for sure. I'd love to have him as a 2nd pairing guy on the Oilers (or a top pairing guy if partnered with a franchise dman). It's just his contract that severely diminishes his trade value.

Basically this and expectations were set too high after a rookie season, that as great on counting stats but had red flags, ie he wasn't going to be a superstar.

Modern day version of Barry Beck but a bit better too.
