How do you currently rank the progression of top 10 2023 draft pick players?

While Bedard certainly has the most points and games, his recent struggles show he’s not in his own tier just yet, and all of the top 5 players are displaying signs of future brilliance.

Interesting to note, Fantilli and Carlsson have nearly identical stats throughout two seasons.

Will Smith started very slow but recently picked up and posted very solid numbers.

If I had to rank them:

Bedard
Michkov

Fantilli
Carlsson

Smith

Dvorsky
Leonard

Danielson
Simashev
Reinbacher

I would have Leonard in the same tier as Smith, above Dvorsky, even though he's not in the NHL yet. He's only gotten better since the draft.

Based on what I've seen from Leo Carlsson the last couple times I've seen him play (and his production over the past few months) I'd probably take him #1 overall in a re-draft.

I think overall Fantilli looked better than Carlsson in the regular.

Michkov will be the best player, IMO. Hockey IQ is off the charts. If Flyers ever get him some help, he will regularly score 100.

Could see either of Carlsson or Fantilli becoming a dominant force. Leonard is intriguing as well.

I expect Bedard to be a PPG guy but he’s not nearly as good a playmaker as advertised.

I agree. I was going to point out that I can see Michkov improving from this year into next year.

Move Simashev up 2 and Bedard down 1 and this is perfect.

When Reinbacher actually plays you can see the talent hes such a smart player but thats back to back years with knee injuries its starting to worry me

I have high expectations of Michkov based on how he has managed to handle his father's mysterious death.
I doubt I, at twice his age, would have managed it half as well mentally.

That kid seems to have a mental stamina which few people possess, so right now I'm expecting him to be the best of them all when it is all said and done.
