Anyway, I feel bad for the players. There is tension in that room, but it might be managable if not for the constant hounding from the media. Watching those scrums is painful, and I can see how that, and not the original issue would drive someone to crack.

I passionately cheered for the Canucks from 1969, when they were part of the old Western league, until 2021. As others have stated everything trickles down from ownership, and the Aquilini family are absolutely scum. I couldn’t stomach even a dime of my money going to people who left Jim Benning in charge for eight years while denying farm workers water and bathrooon breaks.
I switched my allegiance to the Kraken, and while they’re not very good, they don’t have slumlords, human rights abusers, or child beaters at the helm.
