How do we feel about Jakob Chychrun?

    What This Means for You:

At some point aggressive moves need to be made to try and contend/improve with this core.

I’d love Romanov but I don’t think Lou makes that trade. I’d be surprised if either the Islanders or Romanov want to move on from each other.

With the cap jumping I could see Gavrikov getting the Brady Skjei 7x7.

Provorov probably gets more than that.

Me neither, but we should be putting both our 25 and 26 1st + other assets not named ASP/Buchenikov/one ofCossa + Augustine on the table for an actual upgrade. Yes that includes Danielson and MBN.

Danielson is in the same tier as ASP/Buch and a goalie for me.

And I’d probably move on of those guys if someone like Kyle Connor becomes available. Not for Romanov though.

Julien Gauthier. That ended up being a great draft for d-men:

McAvoy
Chychrun
Fabbro
Girard
Lindrgren
And of course out of Europe, Fillip Hronek

However the guy taken first among d-men - Olli Juolevi - only played 41 games.
