Yeah, Del Zotto just doesn't hit the net. Ever. And if he does.. JK.

If we come back in this series and win it all would that top the 94 run? So much adversity right now. Trading our captain, the MSL family ordeal, the blown game 2 by the refs. I feel like this year could top 94 as far as story lines and adversity goes

I am really disappointed that Rangers haven't solved Quick. Shots on net just doesn't work with Quick and the LA D.
They are a mirror image of the Tim Thomas Boston of 2011. The Canucks struggled with Thomas advancing out of his goal and it was only when they added the extra pass across him they had any success.
I am really down at how much work the Rangers have put into this series so far and haven't got their just reward.
I fear until their coaches realise that dragging Quick laterally across his crease is the only way to beat him they will continue to hit their head against a brick wall and continue to be caught on the counter attack.
Looking back to 2011 I watched every night thinking that Thomas wasn't invincible but by game 7 I realised if you only shoot down the slot, he was. It's the same with Quick.

Look how far Thomas is out his goal.

Yeah man, I hear you! It certainly would be. Here's how it plays out.

Win game 4 or obviously no need to discuss further.
Now, down 1-3, approach it like Pitt series. Just get that ONE, huge series changer win on the road.
Down 2-3, back home with pressure swaying towards LA. Hank cannot be beaten.
Series tied, and anything can and WILL happen, as we once again refer to being best away team.

There it is, one shift, one period, one game at a time. Would be BEST ever comeback in history.

I have no hope, but maybe I will regain a tiny bit of optimism if they're playing a great third period in game six. I was so excited about the "possibility" and the first two losses were heartbreaking. I had hope for game three (a 2-2 series going back to LA would have been amazing), but the bottom fell out with .7 seconds left. This was supposed to be the year. I've put up with 20 years of BS to seem them get back here, and this is what happens. One goal against in game 3, and they basically gave up.

Nash is done when he can't/won't crash the net to score goals. Let's hope someone would actually take him, and trade him for whatever we can get. I temporarily changed my mind when he had a decent Philly and Pitts series, but Richards has to be bought out.

:(

I have no hope(

never a better time than tomorrow to start on a 4 game winning streak. No reason it can't happen

I look at it this way if I'm playing - would you rather play another 88 games (inc preseason) and win four 7-game series next year, or would you rather just win 4 measly games RIGHT NOW and win the Cup

LGR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes our odds are bad, but it's far from impossible. I have hope and we will see how far it goes.. lets take it on Wednesday and go from there. Let us see how this team responds to being on the brink of elimination in the SCF. I would bet a lot of money that Lundqvist is going to play like a man possessed and that goes a long way (just look at the Pittsburgh series). The rest of the team should follow and at the very least give the Kings a run for their money.

Lets Go Rangers!

The fact that the Rangers haven't really been outplayed and that they usually play their best in elimination games gives me a little bit of hope.
Win 2 games and it's a series again!

To win this series, every single player on the team must fully embrace that they may never have this opportunity again.

Until they do, this series is over, and it will kill me to see the cup in the wrong team's hands at MSG.

Man it has been an amazing convergence of skill and luck for the Kings. They've scored just about every way possible, from the prettiest play to random bounces off people, and on the flip side getting once a year saves with the paddle multiple times in one game.

You'd almost think their luck is bound to run out. Problem is they have 4 more tries to get a win lol. Just slightly frustrating to see the Rangers play right there with them and not even get a sniff yet.

With the adversity, bad bounces and more importantly, the hole they find themselves in, I would be inclined to have a sport psychologist address the team. A pre-game locker room visit from Mess might help too.

The Kings - and now Quick - are in their heads. They likely could have played 'til 4:00 in the morning and the Rangers still wouldn't have scored. :(

These f**kers can be beaten. They're doing the same thing they did in 2012 by steam rolling everyone and coming at you 110% all game long. It's a war of attrition you just need to sign up to stand guard & attack them at the same pace. Any weakness is exploited. They are not invincible, only intimidating. They didn't do anything special in the regular season in 2011-12 or 2013-14 but managed to crank it up when it mattered. Rangers must do the same, it's not over 'til it's over

They have to come out to play tomorrow night, obviously. Get the series back to LA. If they get to game 5 and win it, I think the momentum they build winds up getting this series to 7 games. Just a feeling..

I honestly believe with a bounce here or there, the way the Rangers have played they could be the ones up 3-0. Thats what makes this so difficult for me. So far away at 3-0 but yet so close the way these games have gone. Ugh. Ill never live this down, never.

If the kings win game 4, they got four wins in a row. Theres no reason why you cant do the same in the next four. Be optimistic guys.

I like this theory :yo: I've tried the pessimism route and it's no fun. If the Kings could come back from down 3-0, and if we've already come back from 1-3, why can't it be us? Why can't we do it.

I'll be at the game tonight and Friday's my birthday---hoping for a lucky week :)

Forgot the 3-0 deficit. Play like it's 0-0 every shift. Know that what you really face is 2 home games, 2 away games.

I feel like the Kings' luck has run out. You can only get so lucky for so long before it catches up to you.

Game 1. Gaborik tying goal. Dominic Moore (I believe) swats at the puck, putting it right on Gaboriks stick for essentially empty net goal.

Game 2. Do I really even have to mention what happened in game 2

Game 3. Jonathan Quick is making goal line saves with his toenails and the paddle of his stick. Each and every LA goal either goes in off a Ranger or gets deflected off a Ranger back on to the stick of a certain Mike Richards for an empty net off the rush.

Game 4. LA outplayed us but we actually got lucky for once.

We've played great on the road all year. We outplayed the Kings in both games in their building. Win Game 5, and this could be something really special. One thing that this team has shown this year is that they refuse to die. I expect them to continue that trend on Friday

So tired of hearing people complain about the refs. Habs fans are STILL squawking over the Kreider collision into Price.

I watched it 10+ times on Youtube, and I still don't see any intent -- but meanwhile Habs fans are still convinced otherwise. Just a breakaway and collision. It happens.

Whether its that or the more obvious interference non-call -- ENOUGH.

Guess what.. EVERY TEAM THINKS THEY ARE GETTING SCREWED OVER BY THE REFS.

Just stop.

If you don't think the Rangers got jobbed in game 2 both by the non-call on the 3rd LA goal and the delay of game penalty in 2OT, you're simply not watching objectively.

It's OK to place blame on officials when they truly deserve it. Those (2) instances weren't game changing calls, they were series changing calls. The Kings simply had no business winning game 2, they were completely outplayed

Commence Bounce Back

The possible.

If we can tough it out and get a win, Friday, ANY kind of win, the confidence boost will be huge and there will be a tiny crack in the LA psyche.

It could happen. Tha's all I'm saying.

Just like Pitt, it's all about game 5. If we win game 5 on the road, anything is possible heading back to our building in game 6.

Just win, baby.
