1-6 so far and is one Winnipeg loss away from missing every first round matchup this year. (Except for that one)

I'll go through mine to start things off.

Toronto vs. Ottawa - I voted for Toronto in 5. Guess I had the right series winner, but not the right series length.
Carolina vs. New Jersey - I voted Carolina in 5. Nailed it!
Tampa Bay vs. Florida - homer voted Tampa Bay in 7. Pretty off base on this one.
Washington vs. Montreal - voted Washington in 5. Also nailed this one.
Los Angeles vs. Edmonton - voted LA in 6. Was looking pretty good at first, but nope. I guess I got the series length right and that counts for something?
Vegas vs. Minnesota - voted Vegas in 5. They took an extra game to do it but they won.
Dallas vs. Colorado - had Colorado in 5 on this one. Nope, not even close.
Winnipeg vs. St. Louis - voted Winnipeg in 5. While the Jets ultimately did get the job done, it wasn't in a way I thought would happen.

In all, 5 for 8 isn't so bad. Even had the winner and series length right on two of them! Maybe I'd have voted for Florida if I hadn't blindly homer voted the Bolts to make it 6 for 8, but I did what I did. We'll never know if I had been more objective about it, so I won't make pretend here.

6/8 in my bracket, but I didn't really expect LA to beat Edmonton. Was more of a hope and a prayer. I just physically can't choose the Oilers in that situation.

Avs losing to the Stars was the only real surprise for me. How that team lost to Dallas missing their best defenseman and their best goalscorer boggles the mind a bit. They choked it big time.

3/4 in the East which is normal. The East sucks and the fingerful of halfway decent teams beat whoever they play.

In the West, I kinda didn't bother. The West is crazy this year.

It's more open than it has been. In 2023, I had 7/8 in the first round and in 2024, I had a perfect bracket all the way through.

That's mostly because, again, the East has been "which number is bigger: 5 or 64?"

2 losses:
Kings vs Oilers - I really thought this was going to be the year that LA broke through, and the end result was basically one extremely stupid coaches challenge away from that being realistic. Had LA in 6.
Bolts vs Panthers - no idea why on this one other than Florida was cold down the stretch which led to them losing out on home ice. Had Tampa in 6.

6 correct picks:
Canes vs Devils - had Canes in 7 due to how dismal the team had been on the road for much of the season but figured the Canes system was just going to be too much with Hughes out for NJ.
Caps vs Habs - had Caps in 5 - Habs were one of the best stories of the year but IMO just weren't quite ready for prime time yet.
Leafs vs Sens - had Leafs in 6 because see Caps vs Habs.
Stars vs Avs - had this as Stars in 7 but mostly as a push. Figured home ice would be the deciding factor.
Knights vs Wild - had Vegas in 5
Jets vs Blues - had Jets in 6
