Without Guentzel he’s had to become more of a distributor. Rakell and Rust aren’t going to be feeding him the puck in scoring areas.

It’s been good for Rakell but Sid’s trying to carry a line at this point.

Either way I don't see him scoring close to 40 goals for his age 38 and age 39 seasons.

He currently sits at 603 half way through this season with a much lower pace than the 42 he scored last season. He has a 2 year extension starting next season and will likely be around 70-75 goals away from 700. Can he do it? Would 700 solidify him in the top 5 of all time?
