Pock(AUT) - Only played one game because he was added after the Wolfpack were eliminated from the AHL playoffs..heard he played good.

he also played center instead of D

Lets hope Dvorak can play like the "hot" D-vo we all know so well??????

who's we? he certainly didn't play anything like that over the last several years with the rangers ;) i like dvorak a lot but i have my doubts he'll be consistant as a scorer in the NHL...he can definatly be streaky

I'm disappointed thatYashin+Weinhandl aren't scoring.

Franz Neilsen had a pretty good tournamnet playing for Denmark.

With the strides DP took during the tournament I think we can ignore Yash and still come away happy as Islander fans. Parrish was really good for the US too.

I was hoping for more out of Weinhandl, not only is he not producing but he is playing poorly too. Not an encouraging tournament from a top SEL scorer.

I have yet to hear a whole lot about Hemsky's play. I haven't seen a Czech game yet so can someone who has seen some games give me a little run down on how he is playing? He was out of the lineup for 2 games, anyone know why? He had 2 goals in 3 games before that. Any insight or summary would be awesome, thanks in advance.

Redden: Been Canada's best defender

Phillips: Shaky start, but is now performing better than most of Canada's D

Fisher: Glued to the bench most of the time. been very effective on the PK (which has been most of his ice time the last few games).

Hossa: Seems to have had a good tourney for Slovakia.

Chara: Slovakia's best defenseman. Only had trouble with Canada (and that was against our big line).

Alfredsson: Swedens leading scorer
Also:
Vaclav Varada: pluggin' away for the Czechs.
Julien Vauclair: A mainstay on defence for the Swiss.
Peter Regin: 3 assists, even +- for Denmark.
Christoff Schubert: 4 assists, +3 for Germany

Michal Handzus: Great tournament, dominant in both zones.
Simon Gagne: Getting lots of points together with Nash and Thornton, been playing well.
Mike Knuble: Decent, had his great moments. Not as good as he was in the SEL.
Branko Radivojevic: Didn't play very much, I think.
Kevin Romy: Looked good the few shifts I saw him play.
Bernd Bruckler: Had a god tournament, IMO. Can't blame him for the teams performances :)

Did I forget anyone?
