How’s J Skinner doing in Edmonton?

Just curious on the thoughts of people who watch former 40-goal scorer Jeff “The Justin Bieber of hockey” Skinner more than I do. How’s he doing in Edmonton? Worth 3 mil?

I believe he started alright, but now only has 7g, 8a, -10 in 40 games, with only 12:30 toi. Are they playing him 3rd/4th line and expecting good results?

I’m curious because I’m a fan of the dude, but also can see him exiting the nhl quickly if he ain’t a 2nd liner any more, and that’s kinda seeming to be the case from a numbers perspective.

feels like he came into the year expecting to play the same role as previous years in BUF, 1st line player on a bad team - he was demoted down the lineup and then healthy scratched - he seems to have gotten the message and has been contributing over the last few games, both O & D wise - I hope he keeps it up - we're a better team with him at his best
