Im from Calgary and a buddy of mine ran into him at Stampede (greatest outdoor show on earth btw) & got a couple things signed for me. According to my friends conversation, he was surprised there were long time Sabres fans in Alberta.. rightfully so because the fanbase here is so thin.


But im pumped.

A good reminder of why they kept KO around for this season. And good on Sam. Of the past regime, he's the player I would take back in a heartbeat.

I wish I could travel to an alternate reality to see what Granato would've done with Sam as center for a longer period of time. He was playing some of his best hockey. I believe he's once again on the wing in Florida due to their center depth, which he's effective at. I just think he was on his way to hitting another level playing center here in Buffalo.

That being said, I <3 the Levi + Ostlund return. It makes the trade bittersweet. More sweet than bitter given Levi's development.
