I've seen a nice mix of classic horror on the big screen via my local hole in the wall theatre this past week....
Last Thursday night I caught the original "Halloween" from 1978, then I caught a 4K restoration of the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" from 1974 last Friday night.
Then last night I was extremely lucky and fortunate enough to catch a double bill of the new 4K Synapse restoration of Dario Argento's "Suspiria" (which looks and sounds ****ing amazing) and then the original "Night of the Living Dead" from 1968.
As far as the new Synapse 4K restoration of "Suspiria" goes, all I can say is "WOW!!" This was my first time seeing the film in over 20 years and the 4K restoration job that Synapse did was nothing short of jaw-droppingly amazing!!!!
I can honestly agree with others that I've talked to that seeing this stunning new restoration on the big screen was one of the most memorable theater experiences I've ever had.
