I'm having router problems, so I can't even watch Columbus, let alone you. But I checked the stats.

First of all, I wouldn't criticize the coach. Yes, Vegas played 3/4 of the day, but Vegas is an experienced team, they have great centers and defensemen, experienced ones too, they can play positionally, hold the puck. You have Evans, Dvorak and Condotta in 2-4 lines, they have Roy, Karlsson, Schwindt. For some players, "the puck is my enemy". Other than Evans, none of these players would play for the Knights. Defense is a kindergarten. So what are you waiting for?

From what I saw on the goal, if Dach played like that, like he did on the goal, he should be HS. He can't be apologized anymore because it's irresponsible.

And as a Slovak I please your GM to let Slafkovski move to the farm (on paper). They will make him a star in Slovakia but he can't carry his line. He makes mistakes. In the past games he often played as a 5'9"/176 lbs player. Our best young player is Dalibor Dvorský, not him.

One more thing. Laine played a good center in Columbus. Try him.

There not playing that way. Whatever was said in the 2nd intermission suggests otherwise.

They had a couple of good shifts. I guess that's good enough now.

The sane way every athlete does. For all the war analogies, literally every team "lives another day" no matter the performance.

Good teams place value in abiding to the details even when they face adversity. If no one holds one another to those values, no amount of talent saves a team. They play like shit and no one really cares.

What "consequence" do you suggest?

Did they not bag skate a few weeks ago?

It appears they have good accountability based on how theyve responded to bad periods this season. The overall compete level has not been our issue.

a lack of win now talent is what it is.

a few 23 yr old players struggling for 20+ games is what it is.

As in reminding the team there is a hockey game to be played even if you're losing 2-0. How many times they gotten scored on and then stopped playing because it's not fun anymore? Is this pro hockey?

And they've responded like what exactly after bad periods? They haven't won one game after conceding first.

A lack of talent win now talent, I can accept. However, a lack of accountability not. We are not talking about losing close games, or not winning in general. We are talking about getting destroyed on the regular.

This was the 8th time in 20 games this season the Habs have given up 5+ goals. They won one of these games 7-5 vs the Sabres.

The Dach and Newhook trades not looking so good so far this season but still lots of hockey left so hopefully both will look better later this season. They can't look much worse right?

Slaf right now looks somewhat how he did to start last season. He's not moving his feet or showing much energy and is just coasting and mostly watching the play. He really needs to start moving his feet and be way more assertive and show way more intensity.

That 2nd period was Rangers game all over again. That was ugly.

I have no idea why MSL insists on playing Dach & Slafkovsky together. Can we please just try Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky again?!

At least Suzuki & Caufield were back together for 3rd period.

Gallagher played hard. I liked Xhekaj's game. Heineman hit everything he could. Fantastic one-timer by him.

Dach needs a benching. Put Pezz in, for God's sake. At least he, Condotta & Heineman will hit people.
