I mean sure he’s a big boy but the “he sucks” is crazy. I thought he was awesome tonight. He's a fast skater, I think, but his skating agility is generally considered to be poor.
It's a problem for teams with poor defensive structure.

Think hes doing pretty well consider takin out spots for Montour and OEL and seems fitting pretty noicly. Only 2 games tho. He's a fast skater, I think, but his skating agility is generally considered to be poor.

Revisionist history but imagine if we had lost that in OT instead. Would we have won the cup last year? I doubt it… I think the experience was needed in multiple ways, felt in person, up and down the lineup, coaching staff, GM staff, trainers, everyone. So if that’s true then despite losing the SCF to Vegas, that shot by Verhaeghe was one of the precursors of the Cup win.Never forget, the rest is history.

Same thing could be said about Verhaeghe’s series clincher against the Caps the year prior, that team was an empty net attempt away from falling 3-1 in that series but everything worked out all the way to that point were Swaggy could win it for us. They 100% needed to win a series for the sake of playoff experience, I see the sweep by Tampa like a necessary evil for the team to understand that playoff hockey isn’t that run and gun shit Coach Sleepy was running here. Chucky and Maurice coming to change the culture was the cherry on top, we are spoiled right now, a lot of teams waste years of their core and never get it together.Revisionist history but imagine if we had lost that in OT instead. Philly, for whatever reasonThink they matchup against everyone like that? Is there any cryptonite?
Shame to see Kulikov tradedDid Goldie say Sturm was gonna wear number 7?
Kind of what happened to Swaggy a couple weeks ago where they gave up an empty netter. I’d feel bad for the guy but it’s Boston so F them.Always seems to be Zadorov. Unfortunate play but he’s dumb as rocks.
Yeah Paul mentioned that in his post game that he liked how Jones is being respectful and really trying to learn the defensive side first but that once he’s comfortable, he’ll really help carrying the puck and helping the rush.I'm quite happy that Jones isn't trying to play hero-puck out there. He seems like he wants to play in the system and do what needs to be done to help the team. You love to see it.
It’s almost like not playing for a shitter team helps the player.Yeah Paul mentioned that in his post game that he liked how Jones is being respectful and really trying to learn the defensive side first but that once he’s comfortable, he’ll really help moving carrying the puck and helping the rush.

A pedestrian 9-9-1 finish would still net them 100 points for the season. I want the division though. Let Toronto and Tampa battle it out again while we draw some rando from the Metro or Detroit
Feels good that Chicago are the bad team, and we're the good team. Honestly felt like that was never going to happen at one point.
I have a feeling it’s gonna be rangers again. We’ll have to put them out to pasture.Winning the division will likely get us whomever WC1 is. I don’t think we pass Washington in points unless they collapse.
The Eastern WC race is so packed it could be anyone from Columbus to Montreal
I tried to add a screenshot of the standings but the board is on the verge of dying again
Last home game of the season is against the Rags. Could mean them making the playoffs or the Panthers could knock them out early.I have a feeling it’s gonna be rangers again. We’ll have to put them out to pasture.
