I don’t know how to post photos on my ancient phone. Anyways I always thought this was a nice tribute at Kelvington. I am pretty sure Clark’s and Kocur’s are cousins so 4 are related.

edit hmm posting the link looks like it posted photo.

Many statues of habs legends in Montreal, including one in front of the Maurice Richard arena in the hochelaga-maisonneuve district. (The ice in this arena is larger than the standard NHL dimensions)

I've been to Olympic Stadium a couple times (for Expos games), so in the neighbourhood of Maurice Richard Arena, but never actually been to the arena.

Was it named for Rocket at the time of its construction (1962)?

This is basically my neighborhood, give or take. Went to Expos games regularly, more to hang out than to watch baseball. It was often empty near the end.

No idea if the name was there from the get go, but I assume it was. There was also a mini-museum inside IIRC. I've played there many times but I was a child.

Small-town and rural Saskatchewan have produced a lot of good hockey players over the decades. Places like Kelvington.

When the city of Fredericton, NB was planning to build 2 new arenas about a decade ago, they decided to name the buildings for the city's 2 best-known hockey players, Willie O'Ree and Danny Grant. Grant insisted he share the honour with his good friend and former NHL teammate (and fellow Frederictonian), Buster Harvey.

Willie O'Ree Place and Grant-Harvey Centre.

The Superior Propane Centre in Moncton, NB contains 4 ice surfaces. One of them is named the Gordon Drillon Rink.

Gordie Drillon is Moncton's best-known hockey player, and the only New Brunswicker inducted into the HHOF in the player category.

Val Marie, Saskatchewan - Hometown of Bryan Trottier.

Val Marie is a small village in southwestern Saskatchewan, about 30 km north of the US (Montana) border. I believe Trottier grew up on a farm outside of Val Marie.
